The exhibition at the Oberhaushof farm brings together objects and stories from ten generations of the Bühler family that lived and worked on the farm.
On a guided tour of the historic Oberhaus, you can immerse yourself in the diverse past of life on the shores of lake Zurich. While you walk through the various rooms, you get to know the men and women who shaped the fortunes of the farm and the family.
For example, you will meet the man who built the Oberhaus or the widely travelled aunt who traded in shares. You will see how the inhabitants of the house lived, what they worked on and how they spent their leisure time.
You won’t just look at the exhibits from afar through glass; instead, you will move around the historic rooms among the antique furniture. Some objects you can even pick up and examine closely.
